NodeMonkes, a collection of NFTs linked to Bitcoin, dominated CryptoSlam’s daily sales chart by surpassing $1 million in transactions on Monday.
With a total of $232.28 million in sales, NodeMonkes stands as the leading Bitcoin-based NFT collection, ranking 26th across the entire NFT market.
Guild of Guardians Avatars started the week in second place, following its strong performance in the previous week.
These digital assets, associated with Immutable’s mobile RPG, recorded sales of $927,430, marking a slight decline compared to the preceding day.
Bitcoin Puppets, another Bitcoin blockchain-based collection, secured third place with $906,427 in daily sales
DMarket, operating on the Mythos blockchain, claimed the fourth position, with $685,469 in transactions, while the Ethereum-based Bored Ape Yacht Club ranked fifth with sales reaching $420,713.
NodeMonkes' success propelled Bitcoin to the forefront of daily blockchain rankings for NFT sales, with Monday's sales reaching $5.3 million, up from $3.21 million on Sunday.
Bitcoin's surge follows a period of decline in the global NFT market, which experienced its lowest monthly performance since October, with total sales amounting to $604 million.
This downturn marked the first instance this year where monthly sales fell below the $1 billion mark, signaling a significant shift in market dynamics.
In contrast, Ethereum witnessed a decline in the number of unique NFT buyers last month and closed Monday as the second-leading blockchain for NFT sales, with transactions totaling $4.2 million.
